Monsoon rains have caused devastating floods across Pakistan, leaving millions homeless and destroying infrastructure. More than one third of the country has been completely submerged by the heaviest downfall in a decade.
At least one thousand people have been killed and millions more made homeless due to flash floods and landslides along the Indus and Kabul rivers. .
Munawar Hussain lives in Derby but is originally from Sukkur in Pakistan, he’s been speaking to Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio Derby’s Andy Twigge.
