11 months ago, Paige Pates was enjoying life. She was about to embark on her Masters degree in Criminology at the University of Gloucestershire, and enjoyed a full social life.

But then she was diagnosed with a rare kidney condition, which has progressed at a rapid rate. She's barely got the energy for her studies, let alone going to the gym, or out to have a laugh with the rest of her 23 year old friends. And of course, she's feeling poorly all the time.

Paige's kidney health has reached the point where she will soon need dialysis unless she has a transplant. Now she's decided to speak out about her illness - and told Anna King she's now appealing for a live donor.
