Artificial intelligence and robotics may be considered the future of medicine, but for a few South African hospitals the future is now. Cape Town’s Tygerberg hospital is proving to be a hotbed of innovation. Following the Covid-19 Pandemic, robots stepped in to help patients connect with loved ones away from hospital. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s Vumani Mkhize visited the hospital to find out how technology is transforming patient’s lives beyond the pandemic.
