California wildfires spread near Yosemite National Park

A state of emergency has been declared in parts of California as the largest active wildfire in the US rapidly spreads near Yosemite National Park. The Oak Fire has quickly grown since starting on Friday, and firefighters have struggled to get the blaze under control.

Outside Source spoke to two people on the move from the flames.

Beth lives in Yosemite and describes how she's preparing to evacuate if ordered. She says that whilst she feels well prepared, the "monster" fire is scary.

Meanwhile, Dutch tourist Quintin had been travelling in the area with his family and two children near Mariposa when suddenly, "you could see really dark clouds and ash was falling".
