Still working at 100

David Flucker first retired at 72, but it wasn't long before he found another job. Now aged 100, he still commutes three days a week to work in a charity shop.

Seventy-two is already past retirement age for many people. That's when David Flucker, who's from Edinburgh, first gave up work.

But it wasn't long before he found another job. Now, aged 100, he's still commuting three days a week to work in St Columba's Hospice shop in Ocean Terminal.

For 5 Minutes On, he tells Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland reporter, Morag Kinniburgh, why he didn't want to stop. "I just couldn't stand having nothing to do, I had to do something," he says. "I enjoy coming down here because the other volunteers are all happy people, they all enjoy the job and look forward to coming."
