Two B or Not Two B
Through humorous interviews with the villagers of a small Welsh community we discover passionate and divided opinions. Two B or not two B?, written and directed by Hywel Matthews, is a light-hearted documentary that explores why Hywel’s home village in Bridgend County, South Wales has two spellings. The current village sign reads Cefn Cribwr, but the Edwardian school sign reads Cefn Cribbwr. Which one is right and why do people care so deeply about it?
Hywel eventually seeks the help of a Welsh language expert to hopefully put the debate to an end once and for all, but will the people of Cefn accept his answer?
