Tewkesbury Stitch Project

Over 8,000 people have now sewn their stitches onto Tewkesbury's equivalent of the Bayeux Tapestry!

Their handiwork will form an embroidery that's over 6 metres in length, plus a border, featuring history and more contemporary tales too.

The finished piece will be on display at the Big Weekend on 21st and 22nd May but that's not the end of the project.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Gloucestershire's Jo Durrant has this report from the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury.
