Grammy nominated artist Yola in conversation with Adam Crowther talking music, growing up, and excitement ahead of the Grammys.

She grew up in Portishead, and went to secondary school in Bristol. Yola always knew from a young age that she wanted to go into music, but her mum wanted her to pursue a "proper" career in law or medicine. Despite a few bumps in the road, Yola has notched up six Grammy nominations over her career and worked with some of the greatest musicians and producers she could ever have hoped for.
