Episode 3
Cormac and Antaine are on the final leg of their epic challenge - will they manage to complete their mission to travel the length of the River Erne to the Atlantic Ocean?
Tá na Buachaillí ón Éirne, Cormac Ó hÁdhmaill agus Antaine Ó Donnaile ar an chéim dheiridh dá n-aistear éachtach chun céaslú ó cheann ceann na dara abhann is faide i gCúige Uladh.
I ndiaidh dó theacht tríd an aimsir fhíochmhar ar an chuid is leithne de Loch Éirne, buaileann Antaine leis an staraí áitiúil Gearóid Mac Lochlainn ar an leithinis shuaimhneach de chuid Eastát Chaisleán Caldwell le foghlaim faoi bhunaitheoir Belleek Pottery, John Caldwell Bloomfield agus baineann siad triail as potaireacht sa mhonarcha féin. Ar fhágáil Béal Leice dóibh, an t-aon rud atá idir na buachaillí agus ceann scríbe s’acu ná sraith dambaí hidrileictreacha. I ndiaidh turas céaslóireachta trí chontaetha an Chabháin agus Fhear Manach, an éireoidh leo a sprioc a bhaint amach le fad na hÉirne a thaisteal go dtí an tAigéan Atlantach?
Cormac Ó hÁdhmaill and Antaine Ó Donnaile are on the final leg of their epic challenge to paddle the length of the second-longest river in Ulster.
After battling ferocious weather on the broadest part of Lough Erne, Antaine joins local historian Gearóid Mac Lochlainn in the magnificent and peaceful peninsula of the Castle Caldwell Estate to hear about the visionary founder of Belleek Pottery, John Caldwell Bloomfield, and try their hand at some pottery at the factory itself. Leaving Belleek, the only thing between them and their final destination is a set of hydroelectric dams. Having paddled through counties Cavan and Fermanagh, will they manage to complete their mission to travel the length of the river Erne to the Atlantic Ocean?
