Team GB’s silver medal winning curler Bruce Mouat and three-time Olympic freestyle skier Katie Summerhayes join Aimee for a one mile stroll to debrief on all things Beijing 2022.

Aimee Fuller brings you the Winter Olympic Mile podcast on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sounds. With the Beijing winter games drawing to a close, it felt only right that she caught up with some of the athletes who headed out to represent their nations. As a former professional snowboarder and two-time winter Olympian, she knows just how it feels, so is buzzing to introduce you to some of Team GB’s finest, as well as some of the biggest international names from around the world.

Both hot off their planes from China, Aimee first meets Bruce Mouat in central London as they reflect on his record breaking competition, from bringing home Team GB’s first medal of the games, to flying the flag at the closing ceremony and becoming the first openly gay athlete to win a winter Olympic medal.

Following that, Aimee headed to Manchester to meet Katie Summerhayes, despite Storm Eunice trying to stop their mile walk, they dive inside a hotel gym for a treadmill mile. Aimee discusses Olympic legacies, Katie’s personal journey to three Olympic finals and whether we’ll be seeing her again in four years time.
