Exclusive: Camilla pledges to continue work against domestic violence as Queen Consort
In an exclusive interview, the Duchess of Cornwall has told the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ that she will continue to support victims and survivors of domestic violence once she becomes Queen Consort.
Speaking to Emma Barnett for Womanβs Hour on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Breakfast, Camilla said that the Queenβs wish for her to be known as Queen Consort in the future represented a βgreat honourβ and that it would help to highlight the work of the causes she supports.
The duchess was speaking at Clarence House as she was reunited with Diana Parkes, whose daughter Joanna Simpson was killed by her estranged husband in 2010, and whose story Camilla credits with inspiring her to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
