Black. British. Muslim. Other
Enas Saeed explores the overlapping expectations and judgements she has to negotiate as a black Muslim woman growing up in Britain today. The Muslim community expect her to act and dress modestly, but her non Muslim friends have different expectations for her, whilst identifying as disabled brings its own challenges. Lost in the noise and feeling confined to boxes, she must solidify her identity and find her own sense of self.
