Shea butter: it is believed to have healing powers especially when used in its raw form
Shea butter is used in treating burns, eczema and even in hair care. However, according to dermatologists, it cannot be used in the place of conventional medicine. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Saida Swaleh reports this story from Ghana where she spoke to shea farmers on how they make the butter. Dr. Jeanette Aryee-Boi, a dermatologist in Ghana, gives expert advice on the use of shea butter.
