Former Sudanese ruling council member arrested

Mohamed al-Faki Suleiman was picked up near his home, his relatives said.

A Sudanese politician who had been a member of the dissolved joint civilian-military government has been arrested.Some Chagossians evicted from the islands 50 years ago returned in a trip organised by the Mauritian government.
