Our heroes meet Ferris, who has discovered the fossil of an Ancient Prototurtle Pokémon.
Continuing to Icirrus City and Ash’s next Gym Battle, our heroes find themselves lost within Twist Mountain. However, they run into a Pokémon Researcher named Ferris, who has just discovered a fossil of the Ancient Prototurtle Pokémon, Tirtouga. Ferris invites the group back to his house where he tells them a story about meeting a Tirtouga when he was a child. Meanwhile Team Rocket (with Dr. Zager) is planning on stealing and restoring the Cover Fossil back to life.
