Team GB curling legend Eve Muirhead chats to Aimee Fuller about heading to her fourth Olympic Games, team unity and whether Aimee would make a good sweeper!

With the Beijing winter games edging ever closer, it felt only right that she catches up with some of the athletes who are heading out to represent their nations. As a former professional snowboarder and two-time winter Olympian, she knows just how it feels, so is buzzing to introduce you to some of Team GB’s finest, as they prepare for their shot at Olympic gold, as well as some of the biggest international names from around the world.
This time on the podcast Aimee catches up with Team GB legend Eve Muirhead. Despite only being 31, Eve is heading out to compete in her fourth Olympic Games, in a sport that always captivates the nation - curling.
With Aimee having witnessed the energy in the Olympic village in 2014 when Eve’s team took home a historic medal, she knows first-hand what it meant to Team GB. Eve brought home a bronze from Sochi and is looking to better that in Beijing. She caught up with the world and European gold medal winner between training sessions in Scotland.
In this podcast series Aimee is going to be taking these athletes for a one-mile walk, getting them out and about to chat everything from training plans, food and Olympic goals.
