Could 'hitchhiking' species be harming Antarctica's ecosystem?
New research by Cambridge University suggests that species from around the the world which become attached to ships are threatening Antarctica’s marine ecosystem. The study lead by Arlie McCarthy tracked vessels which regularly visit the protected and otherwise isolated region.
