Gerald and the giant vegetables
In the midst of Covid lockdowns around the world last year, Gerald Stratford β a cheery 73-year-old Englishman β went viral on social media with videos of his enormous vegetables.
Gerald Stratford is a British gardening enthusiast whose photos and videos of his produce have earned him the nickname βthe undisputed king of giant veg'. The septuagenarian set up his Twitter account for his friends at first, but hundreds of thousands of people then started following him. Outlookβs Tiffany Cassidy went to find out why.
