Molly: Recovering from anorexia and starting uni
Proving she's more than her illness, 18-year-old Molly, who is recovering from anorexia, shares her joy at being able to go to university.
Being a 'fresher' at university is exciting for any new student, but for Molly, it's an exceptional and emotional achievement. Being diagnosed with anorexia aged 14, Molly thought she would never be well enough to leave home and live an independent life - but she is now on the road to recovery and loving spending time with her new student pals. Proving she is more than her illness, Molly talks to Stacey about her teenage years, the support she received from family and her dreams for the future.
Trigger warning: This episode contains descriptions of anorexia and may not be suitable for all audiences. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with an eating disorder, you can find links to organisations who can provide help and support on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Action Line website.
