Top US comedian demands to be removed from Spotify
US comedian Lewis Black has told the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ that he wants Spotify to remove his content from the streaming service in solidarity with other comedians who are demanding the music service pays higher royalty rates. The comedian, who was already part of the campaign organised by Spoken Giants, found that his content remained on the site whilst others was deleted by the company without consultation in retaliation after they demanded higher royalty rates. At the moment one thousand Spotify streams equates to just over $3 for the artist.
