Update: New York City to impose vaccine mandate on all private sector workers

New Yorkers will need to be vaccinated if they want to go to work, says the mayor.

All New Yorkers will need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 if they want to go to work, the city's mayor, Bill de Blasio, has announced. Employees in the public sector already need to be inoculated, but the mandate will now be extended to all private sector employees. The policy will take effect on 27 December, making it the strictest vaccine mandate to be imposed anywhere in the US. We talk to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's North America Business Correspondent Samira Hussain about what the new rules mean. Plus, Peter Jankovskis from Arbor Financial Services brings us the US markets news.
