Many lives have been saved and huge profits have been made from Pfizer's Covid vaccine. The company's boss, Albert Bourla, speaks to our medical editor, Fergus Walsh.
A year has now passed since the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was approved - the first to go through regulated clinical trials. The company is already working on an updated Omicron version of its jab which it says could be ready in 100 days, if required. For 5 Minutes On, Pfizer’s boss, Albert Bourla, gives a rare interview to our medical editor, Fergus Walsh, who has spent the past two years covering the pandemic. Albert talks about the pride he feels in having helped save many lives through the success of the vaccine. And also responds to questions over the fact the company has made huge profits throughout the pandemic.
