Kim Leadbeater: ‘I now carry three panic alarms’

On Tuesday politicians gathered at Westminster Cathedral to pay their respects to Sir David Amess, who was murdered during a constituency surgery in October.

The Pope praised him for years of "devoted public service".

On Monday the streets of Southend were lined with members of the public paying tribute to him.

He was the second serving MP to be killed in the past five years, following the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016.

Emily Maitlis spoke to Kim Leadbeater, the sister of Jo Cox and now Labour MP for Batley and Spen.
