Making ends meet - "I'm happy if I've got Β£20 at the end of the month"

Households across the UK are coming under further pressure. Paula and Sarah - nursery workers in Halifax - are having to up their hours just to keep things ticking over at home.

Living costs are rising rapidly - putting further pressure on households across the UK. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Consumer Affairs Correspondent, Colletta Smith, has been to meet Paula and Sarah - who are nursery workers at Dean Clough Mill in Halifax. Recently, they've both had to increase their hours at work to keep things ticking over at home. They are among those who are said to be "just about managing" - individuals and families that are not well off - but also not the poorest in society, and who - despite mostly being in work - find day-to-day life a struggle. This is 5 Minutes On, "Making ends meet".
