Armistice Day: Dorset soldier’s letters home to future wife
During the first world war, millions of letters were sent from soldiers in the battlefield to their loved ones back home.
Will and Harry Saunders were twin brothers from Shipton Gorge near Bridport, Dorset.
In May 1915 Will was killed by poisoned gas at Hill 60 near Ypres.
Soon after, Will's brother Harry began exchanging letters with Florence. They later went on to marry.
