President Biden's Childcare Tax Credit Plan
One of the most radical aspects of President Joe Biden's first 100 days in office has been his child tax credit. For one year, all but the richest families in America will get up to three thousand six hundred dollars for each child under six, and three thousand dollars for kids over six. Democrats say this is an ambitious effort to end child poverty and they want to make it permanent. Republicans say it's an expensive way of discouraging people from working. Laura Trevelyan went to a child-care center in Connecticut to learn more. Produced by Tristan Cimini.
