Marcus Rashford - "it's a bittersweet moment"
At 23 years of age, Marcus Rashford has become the University of Manchester's youngest recipient of an honorary award at a special ceremony at his club's Old Trafford stadium.
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has become the youngest person ever to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Manchester - for his work to tackle child poverty. But he says it's "bittersweet", after the Β£20 top-up to universal credit ended. Removing the temporary increase, he says, "could see child poverty rise to one-in-three children", and he's calling for an end to what he says is a "child hunger pandemic". The government says the top-up was designed to help in the pandemic's toughest times.
