Update: Facebook whistleblower testifies before US Senate

An ex-employee told lawmakers that Facebook prioritised profits over its users safety.

Frances Haugen, who worked at Facebook, told a US Senate committee that she believed the company had put its profits first when executives knew what harm its platform could do to children and democracy.
