Kerry Godliman: Why Kae Tempestβs book moved me so much
Kerry Godliman read out loud a passage from the book On Connection by Kae Tempest which she says she found very moving as she emerged from the first Covid lockdown.
The comedian was taking part in the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live.
The station wants people to record themselves reading out some words which really matter to them.
Kerry said Tempest words always pull her to the βnowβ.
βThis was a book about connecting with each other and how much we miss when we donβt have that, and I found it very moving.β
