βI donβt think Iβve ever put a letter on my fridge beforeβ
Naga Munchetty said a letter from a young fan gives her βhopeβ when she is feeling battered by the news.
The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ presenter read the letter out loud as part of the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live.
The station is asking people to record themselves reading out words which matter to them.
In the letter, which was sent to Naga at the height of the pandemic, the young girl writes that Naga is her βkey-worker heroβ.
βIt just really touched me,β said Naga. βAnd I donβt think Iβve ever put a letter on my fridge before.β
