How should councils around Britain respond to the call to take in Afghan refugees?
Around 15,000 people including British nationals, Afghan staff and others at risk have been evacuated from Kabul by the UK since 15 August.
But what happens to them in the longer term is less clear.
The government believes around a hundred councils in England - or just a third - have come forward to take them. So should they be housed more evenly around the country?
Or will that risk a clash with council chiefs who say they simply canβt afford to put the newcomers first?
