Waiting to meet Grandma
Some people went months - some even more than a year - before they got to see their parents or grandparents - because of things like shielding or travel restrictions.
For those who've become parents during the pandemic, it's been one of the hardest parts of having a lockdown baby.
For Lucy Haynes from Stafford - that wait to see her mum Julie was still going on, made worse because back in November she gave birth to her little girl Penny....and her Mum Julia, who lives in Spain, hadn't met her new grandchild.
Lucy and Julia spoke to John Acres at Breakfast on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Stoke about preparing for those first cuddles in nine months.
