Update: US census data released

The white population in the US has declined for the first time in history

For the first time in history, the United States' white population has declined according to new census data. The figures also showed the country's population growth was the lowest since the Great Depression in the 1930's. We speak to Kimberly Adams from Marketplace in Washington about how the demographic change will affect businesses. In China the government has announced a plan to tighten regulation of its economy. The five-year plan is seen by some as a further crackdown on the tech sector by Beijing. China has already started targeting the technology and education industries. We ask Dr Rana Mitter, from Oxford University, to analyse the new plans. And we have a regular look at the US markets with Cary Leahey at Decision Economics in New York.
