Mental Health Reboot

Lockdown messed with Hayley’s head. As she attempts to reboot her mental health, she’ll explore what the pandemic has taught us about the things we need for our mental wellbeing.

Like many people her age, Hayley struggles with anxiety. And when lockdown kicked in and the world closed its doors in March 2020, the things she took for granted almost vanished overnight. She lost her job, couldn’t go to the gym, couldn’t go out on the sesh with her mates and couldn’t hug her family. It messed with her head and her anxiety went through the roof. And she’s not alone - over two thirds of young people say that their mental health got worse during lockdown.

Now the restrictions are beginning to ease and we can get back to some sort of normality, Hayley wants to reboot her mental health by exploring what lessons we’ve learnt from lockdown. By looking at the things we missed the most, she wants to understand what the pandemic has taught us about the things we need for our mental wellbeing. She’ll explore the role touch has on our mindset, how we can learn to accept the things we can’t control, the need for release and letting go, and how important self-expression is to feeling good.

As Hayley examines the things that really matter to her in life, can she reclaim the year she’s lost, by grabbing life by the balls and becoming a yes girl?! Time to find out as Hayley goes on a Mental Health Reboot.
