Tokyo 2020 has been Nick Hope's 17th and last Olympic Games as a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reporter. As he signs off, he reflects on a "surreal" event which looked, sounded and felt so different.
Nick Hope has attended seventeen Olympic Games as a reporter for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. Tokyo 2020 - his last - has been like no other. Here, he shares his 5 Minutes On - an Olympics which has sounded, looked and felt so different.
He takes us on a behind the scenes tour, where we get to experience what it was really like to be part of a vast sporting event in the midst of a pandemic.
As he signs off, he reflects on an Olympics which will perhaps be remembered as a Games, where medals mattered but mental health awareness was the real winner.
