In this first episode of the games-time podcasts Aimee catches up with two amazing athletes. The first is a superstar in her own right even before she hopped on the plane to Tokyo, it's super Fran Kirby. The footballer who has defied the odds to battle a near career-ending health issue to come back to fitness. Not just content with getting back on the pitch, she has recently smashed through the Chelsea Women’s all time scoring record, took the WSL title and took home the PFA player of the year award.
The second guest is Mahama Cho, a taekwondo master who is full of energy. After narrowly missing out on a medal in Rio five years ago, he’s back to take on the heavy weight division. So we dial in and find out how he’s been getting on in the GB camp.
In this podcast series Aimee is going to be talking training plans, food and Olympic goals. Remember you can only hear it right here on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds...
