Gissou Nia on Iranian water shortage demonstrations
The Iranian authorities say, a policeman has been shot dead and at least two people killed during ongoing protests in the Khusestan province in the southwest of the country. The six days of demonstrations were sparked by frustration at severe water shortages. Protesters have also denounced the Iranian leadership. Gissou Nia, a senior fellow of Middle East Programs at the Atlantic Council, joined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ to discuss.
