Weymouth and Wimborne community project helping families in need and people get back into work
Community project 'Seed2Plate' - growing food for lower income families in Weymouth and Wimborne - is looking for more participants.
A plot of land in each town is currently being turned into somewhere to grow fresh fruit and veg, by local people who are unemployed. The idea’s to help them back into work and also benefit families in need.
29-year-old James from Portland is one of those taking part and has been showing our reporter Charlotte Foot around their Weymouth site. We've also been chatting to Jo Pope, who's part of the team behind the project.
