Forty years ago this week, 麻豆约拍 Radio Humberside was on board the last ever journey of the Humber Ferry "The Farringford" - it was the same day that the Humber Bridge opened to traffic on 24 June 1981. The ferry was packed with passengers taking one last journey before the service finished for ever.
