Accompanying Twayna Mayne's new series this is a chance to hear the subjects of each episode discussed in more detail with Andi Oliver and Chantelle Lewis.
Twayna Mayne explores her own experiences of being a transracial adoptee and how it has shaped her sense of identity as a black woman. Accompanying the stand-up series is a roundtable where each subject matter is discussed more fully. Food, stereotypes, class and the phrase "I don't see race".
The first series of Black Woman won "Best Comedy" at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio and Music Awards 2020 and is also available on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds with an accompanying extended roundtable.
