The V&A in Dundee has opens its doors for its first post-lockdown exhibition, Night Fever: Designing Club Culture, exploring nightclub architecture, fashion and lighting over the years through the prism of some of the world's most iconic clubs.

Using the exhibition as a starting point, Newsnight looks at the how club culture and design has evolved and changed and asks what it takes to make certain spaces so special.
