Michael Freedland reports on the aftermath of the killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games in Munich. He speaks to German embassy officials, including Herbert Sulzbach - thought to be the only man to have fought for the German army in the First World War and the British army in World War Two - as well as Chief Rabbi Immanuel Jakobovits. He also reflects on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, with Gena Turgel, who remembers marking the day as an inmate of Bergen-Belsen. And there’s a thought from actor and writer, Robert Rietti.
