Caitlin Foulds used lockdown as an opportunity to learn how to become a ceramist like her father Adrian. Working out of the family basement in Glasgow, together they went on to grow their business.
When lockdown hit, Caitlin Foulds was forced to abandon the travel plans she’d made after university and instead moved home to take an apprenticeship with her dad Adrian learning how to make pottery. Working out of their cellar in Glasgow, the pair then went on to to establish Pots from Scots, making an impressive variety of styles inspired by Scotland, body shapes and more. Combining Adrian’s technical knowledge and love of glazing with Caitlin’s vision on how to modernise her father’s style, their work is now sold locally and online.
