My wife's Covid death: 'There's a pain in the pit of my stomach'
Since the WHO declared the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, over two and a half million deaths have been reported, with each one representing a group of family and friends who have been left behind. Russell and Judy both got sick with Covid at the same time in Oklahoma, in the US, but Judy, Russell's wife of 52 years, did not survive. With his daughters Paige and Shaye, Russell describes his experience of waking from a coma to find out she'd died, and the devastating sense of loss he feels without her.
