Desperate measures to fund life-extending treatment for rare cancer during Covid
Just over a year ago, Dorchester grandmother Geraldine Morley was diagnosed with a rare eye cancer that spread to her liver. But she was denied access to a potentially life-extending NHS treatment trial which was suspended due to Covid-19. So the family have attempted to raise a quarter of a million pounds to pay for six rounds of chemo-saturation privately in Southampton. The sacrifices included Geraldine selling her home.
