US Senate approves historic boost to pandemic-hit economy.

President Biden has hailed a Senate vote to approve his Covid recovery plan as a giant step towards providing desperately needed help to the American people. The bill is worth nearly $2 trillion and will return to the House of Representatives for approval within days.
