Five Decades in Five Songs: Take That's Rule The World by Luke J West
A song that cemented Take That's reputation as great songwriters as well as boy band favourites. This was released in 2007 on the soundtrack of the film Stardust and became a huge hit, staying in the UK Top 100 for seventeen months. They performed it live at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
Talented singer, songwriter, and producer Luke J West lives in Winterton and is a favourite on Radio Humberside's Introducing show as a live performer as well as gracing the playlist with plenty of excellent releases. He says" "Wow, what an opportunity - thank you for letting me be a part of such a special event. I think I could smash my own unique version of this song" (he's most certainly done that)
Luke's collaborators on this track are John McIntyre who produced, mixed and mastered and Luke Clarkson on keys and piano.
