On New Years Eve 1970, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent officially went on air for the first time.

We were there in 1976 when Saints went to Wembley and lifted the FA Cup
We were there when Portsmouth Port opened and we were there when the millionth transit rolled off the production line in Swaythling.
We were there during the 1976 drought and through the autumn storms.
And of course we were there when Saints brought the FA Cup home.
