Egypt: International criticism grows over arrest of human rights activists
Egypt has dismissed international criticism of the arrest of three members of one of the country's leading human rights organisations. The arrests came after they had met with foreign ambassadors. The Foreign Ministry has rejected what it calls any attempt to affect investigations of citizens who've been charged. Hossam Bahgat is the founder and president of Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights. He says his colleagues are suffering from inhumane conditions in prison and they can't even buy food nor are they given blankets at night.
