Becoming A Female Quran Reciter With Madinah Javed
Madinah Javed is an activist, a women’s rights campaigner and one of just a few female Quran reciters in the UK. Her recital at St Mary’s Cathedral sparked backlash online and she’s now hoping to change the stigma associated with women reciting the Quran publicly.
